Diving Certifications
RLT Dive Center is PADI
(Professional Association of Diving Instructors)
Certified. PADI is the world's largest
diver-training organization. Because PADI has the
most complete and widely recognized
diver-training programs, you can be confident
that you are earning the finest and most
respected diver credentials available. We have
some courses available on a home study program
with the latest PADI teaching materials. This
allows you to partially complete the academic
portion at your own speed. We then coordinate
your dive training as you complete your course
work.

PADI Bubblemaker
Children
between the ages of 8 to 11 can now try scuba
with PADI's new Bubblemaker program. In the
program a child can experience scuba in a
pool with a certified instructor. Students
will be allowed to go down 6 ft and experience
scuba for themselves.
PADI Scuba Diver
This
pre-entry level course enables you to dive to 40
ft. with a Divemaster or higher. PADI Scuba
divers can continue their course to become an
Open Water Diver within a year of becoming a
Scuba Diver.
PADI Open Water Diver Course
This is a pre-requisite entry level course that will provide you with the skills to visit the underwater world. Once completed, you will have learned all the basic skills to dive safely to a depth of 60 feet. This course is in three segments: Academic training, Confined-water training, and (Open-water training (additional charge for Open Water)). Successful completion is eligible for 1 hour college credit through the ACE program. Transcript expense is the responsibilty of student.
PADI Advanced Open Water Course
This course is for divers having achieved their Open Water Certification. The course consists of two parts, Advanced Open Water and Advanced Plus Course. Both courses develop your underwater skills and give you a taste of specialty diving activities. The scope and duration of the specialties varies with your interest level. There are three core dive requirements; night dive, deep dive (100 feet), and navigation dive.
